Shrooberson slowly started to tap his foot, bored out of his mind. Since that was the case, he decided to strike up a conversation with Shroobel.

"So, have you been on an adventure at some point? I've been on a few, and with your interesting features and personality, I'm sure you been on some as well."

One of the doors in the basement hallway was creaked open. "Eh hee hee hee!" A laugh echoed through the hallway and generator room, with a fast pace of metal clanks following the laughter.

"Oh, my precious, precious Catty! Brought your friends with you to die, too?" Oh, that voice... the voice of a psychopath, a certain psychopath. And seconds later, that psychopath was blocking the generator room's door and he had the lightning cannon from the day before aimed directly at the group. "Remember me, honey? It's me! Your favorite!"

Katalyst is back. And the weapon he had over his shoulders glowed in the dark brighter than a plasma globe (although the cannon itself is circulating pure electricity), and it had exposed the familiar Tesla armor that he has always worn and a slightly new design to his helmet. Instead of simply half of a helmet, it was his half of a helmet stitched together with a Koopa's skull big enough to fit his head.

"As much as I'd love to chit-chat, I have my own problems to deal with and none of you are looking so tender at the moment! So, ta ta!" Upon finishing his five second lecture, he immediately shot a lightning bolt out of the cannon and directly at Arien's group. Whether this lightning bolt will collide into someone not quick enough, the wall behind them or on the floor, the bolt will explode into a small dome of electricity and shock anyone within it's blast radius. A direct hit from the lightning bolt itself CAN brutally injure or even kill. Finally, the oh-so familiar sound of an extremely close lightning strike would ring throughout the rest of the school and blast outside of the building, obviously alerting anyone within the area outside.

The second the bolt was fired, Katalyst immediately ran to the stairs to make his escape.

Calmlac heard the sound of the cannon going off and jumped a bit in surprise. "What was that?! It sounded like lightning!" Calmlac exclaimed, he would investigate if it weren't for all the death around him he had to stop himself from seeing.

Stan heard the lightning from inside the building. His eyes went wide as he turned around. "Don't tell me that that Koopa from the desert was responsible for the destruction of the city. Is he in there?" Stan walked over to the building. He went against the wall right next to the door and prepared his arm cannon.

"Duck!" said Adrian before doing so himself to avoid the lightning.

(Sorry for the inactivity. Lots of stuff has been going on.)

Pong was not interested in the blood or school. Instead, he wandered off into the city, checking out the damage and naturally looking for survivors. He was not so naive as to ignore the fact that there might be traps, appearing to be casually kicking around rocks though in truth he was checking for mines.

He didn't bother checking the bodies. He didn't put it past the people who did this to rig the bodies with explosives. He'd seen it before during his past life. People only trying to bury their loved ones...only to find them turned into bombs.

Also I have been really stuck with how to respond most of the time when replying here and haven't really contributed much here and haven't even battled or anything so I wish to withdraw from here if that's okay. "Hey! Don't run off with all the valuables yourself!" Eliza said shortly before she arrogantly held up her hand, trying to shield herself from Katalysts lightning bolts.

"Well, yes, one adventure with-" Shroobel's response wasmcut short by the noise from the building. "Oh good, some action. Let's get ready if anything comes out."

"I'm with you, comrade." Shrooberson replied. He didn't want to pull out his ray gun just yet, for he wasn't convinced that there was anything coming their way.

Although it is a normal reaction to put your hand up to your face to shield the eyes from sudden brightness, it will not deflect lightning. Eliza takes a direct hit from the lightning bolt, causing the bolt to explode once it touched her and sent her flying into the wall. The shockwave dome blasted in mid-air and merely grazed the ones who ducked down to the floor, but they will not be able to avoid minor shock effects.

Survival from a direct hit is slim, Eliza will suffer some very nasty burns, an extremely strong shock effect and maybe a broken bone or two.

Katalyst dashed up to the main floor of the school and ran right outside of the hole in the classroom. He continued to run for cover, so if the outside group is fast enough, they will likely catch Katalyst running out the hole in the wall.

Stan saw Katalyst run out of the building and immediately recognized him. "Oh man, it is him," Stan stated. "As much as I'd like to go after him, I need to make sure everyone else is alright." Stan ran through the hole and to the classroom. "Hey, is everyone okay!?"

"No I'm not OK." Catalina said on the floor. "That guy has an obsession with me and wrote my name in blood and now I feel dirty." she shuddered. "Anybody else smell fried turkey?" she then realized what it was. "Oh crap..."

Calmlac assumed the "him" Stan was referring to was the one that cracked his shell because of the familiar lightning noise, so he stayed where he was.

Shroobel immediately went into action when Katalyst came out. He wanted big time revenege for being kicked in the face

The loud crash of a lightning bolt made Brenner yell "What the crap?" and grab his spear. Spotting Katalyst running from the scene, he wasn't sure what to do. Watching Shroobel take off after him made Brenner realize this new person must be a threat, and so Brenner ran after him, spear at the ready.

"Nngh..." Adrian would slowly get up; he was seriously getting tired of getting blasted at with lightning. "Don't... chase after that Koopa, he's incredibly dangerous!"
